My first

Hello! This is my first official blog post. I'm really excited to get a blog.

It took awhile to think up a name for my blog and Mom helped me, ( thank you Mom!) We finally agreed on Lydia's Logbook. I was hoping to go for a more catchy name, but nothing came to mind. I just got back from the orthodontics. I got green for my braces since it's Saint Patrick's Day. :)

I'm currently reading One Eye Laughing the Other Weeping the Diary of Julie Weiss Veinna, Austria to New York, 1938.  It's about a Jewish girl who is sent to America to get away from the cruelty of Hitler. A very moving story.. And also I'm reading a fabulous book called Developing a Healthy Payer Life. I recommend that one to ALL. It's a great book. And another one I'm reading is Nancy Drew, ( the best mystery books ever! ) Well, this is enough for now I've got to go help Mom with the corned beef and cabbage dinner we'll be having for tonight.
